How Tutu Bella® got started:
Tutu Bella® was launched in 2003 by clothing designer, Anne Spencer...with the help of many friends and enthusiastic little ballerina princesses. "I wanted to create a "one stop shop" for Mommies, Daddies, Grannies, and Aunties, to buy their "little princess" the very best tutus and accessories, packaged properly, that are unique and always a hit! Possibilities are endless when it comes to "girly" dress up items..and Anne is always busy coming up with new fabulous items...that are thoughtfully designed, sewn or coordinated. Anne also names each tutu and puts special tags on most of her accessories and favors. "Packaging is very important...it is a finishing touch that can not be omitted." The bottom line is...little girls all over the US .. and in Europe, can't take these special handmade tutus and accessories off! They wear them to I-Hop, the grocery store, dance class, parties, the beach..."I just love the stories!..and the happy faces...it is priceless and such a sweet time in a little girls life."...says Anne. Dance Recitals:
We offer dance recital costumes that will include leotard, tutu (attached or not attached). Hair accessories and other props can be added at reasonable charges. We may purchase certain parts of the costume depending on time requirements or ease of the costume. Prices will vary. Please email us if you desire any costumes as soon as you know so we can work up a sample for you. Small orders are welcome and prices will be similar to what other dance companies will charge.

Sizing:
Tutu Bella® tutus are handmade and sized to fit "most" between the ages of 2 1/2 up to age 5+ (give or take). All of our Tutu Bella handmade tutus have elastic waists to make it easy to pull it on right before ballet class or for dress-up...as we know your little one may insist on putting it on "all by herself!" Please email us if you have a size or length question. We are happy to help you! We can also make adjustments as we make all of our tutus in our studio!

Custom:
If you just HAVE to have a pink tutu with yellow ducks and fluffy fringe...well, you have come to the right place! We make specially requested tutus all the time and usually it is not a "big deal." In fact many of our tutus are not on our site yet so it is possible we have exactly what you are looking for!! (costs will reflect availability of the items needed or if tulle colors need to be special ordered.)
